Production Lead

Job Description

Production Lead Full Time, Permanent based in Paignton, Devon.  This will be working Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (40 hours per week) on a salary of up to £27K DOE.

Due to growth, Wise Employment are seeking an experienced Production Lead with the purpose to drive and lead the production team to ensure optimisation of processes so that a first class experience is delivered across all channels.

Within this Production Lead role, you will be required to plan and lead the daily production to ensure all KPIs are achieved.  This will consist of; prioritising builds, planning production builds, raising build plans and picking of relevant stock required, delegating within the production team and ensuring the ERP system is completed and updated throughout.

You will be responsible for ensuring the correct level of finished stock is available and assist on the production line where required.  You will provide ongoing team motivation, direction, coaching and encouragement and ensure performance is monitored within the production team.

Key Skills required for a Production Lead:

We are looking for recent experience within Production/Manufacturing at Team Leader or Supervisory level.  You will be a confident leader and competent within stock management systems and Microsoft Office Packages.  You will also be required to have knowledge and experience within 5S and continuous improvement.
